INSTRUCTIONS
- Combine equal parts sugar and water in a saucepan.
- Add a split vanilla bean and heat until the sugar dissolves. You can use vanilla extract if you do not have vanilla beans but it's best to use real vanilla.
- Let it cool and strain out the vanilla bean. Store in a clean bottle in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
