Serving Up Recipe's All Day Ever Day

Springbokkie
INGREDIENTS
  • 1 oz crème de menthe (green)
  • 1 oz Amarula cream liqueur

INSTRUCTIONS
Pour the crème de menthe into a shot glass until it's half full.  Slowly pour the Amarula over the back of a spoon, so it floats on top of the crème de menthe, filling the shot glass.  Enjoy responsibly! Remember, the drink's appearance with distinct layers  is key to its representation, so careful pouring is essential.

NOTES
The Springbokkie shooter takes its inspiration from the springbok, which  is both South Africa's national animal and the nickname for their  national rugby team, the Springboks. The drink itself reflects the green  and gold colors traditionally associated with the Springbok rugby  jersey.
