NOTES
One of the true classics in the tropical drink genre, this original Trader Vic's recipe from 1944 lives up to its archetypal roots. When made with the classic ingredients, the Mai Tai deserves its Tahitian title, which means "out of this world." Martinique rum is the ideal component in this drink, but given its elusive availability in the States, any aged añejo rum will work just as well.
