NOTES
A variation on the gin-based Tom Collins, the John Collins was originally made with Holland gin, but in America you will find it made with either bourbon or Canadian blended whisky. To confuse the situation even further, it is frequently found under different names as well. For example, the Colonel Collins is made with bourbon, and the Captain Collins, also known as the Bourbon Collins, uses Canadian blended whisky.
