Champagne Julep Cocktail Recipe | Building A Drink

Serving Up Recipe's All Day Ever Day

Champagne Julep
INGREDIENTS
  • 6 to 8 small fresh mint leaves 
  • 1 tsp superfine sugar 
  • ¼ oz fresh lemon juice 
  • Dash of Cognac
  • 3 to 5 oz chilled champagne
  • Garnish: Fresh mint sprig 

INSTRUCTIONS
Muddle the mint leaves, sugar, lemon juice, and Cognac together in the bottom of a collins glass. Add a few ice cubes, and slowly top with champagne. Garnish with the mint sprig.
