Brandy Sour
INGREDIENTS
- 2 oz brandy
- ¾ oz fresh orange juice
- ½ oz simple syrup
- Garnish: Maraschino cherry
- Garnish: Orange slice
INSTRUCTIONS
Shake the liquid ingredients vigorously with ice. Strain into a chilled sour glass. Garnish with the cherry and orange slice.
VARIATIONS: For a lemon-lime version, use ½ oz lime juice and ½ oz lemon juice in place of the orange juice.
For an Apple Brandy Sour, substitute Calvados or applejack for the brandy, and add a dash of grenadine.
For a Fireman's Sour, add 1 oz grenadine.
