Brandy Crusta
INGREDIENTS
- Lemon wedge
- Superfine sugar
- 2 oz brandy
- ½ oz Cointreau
- ½ oz fresh lemon juice
- Dash of maraschino liqueur
- Garnish: Lemon peel spiral
INSTRUCTIONS
Rub the rim of a chilled sour glass with the lemon wedge and rim with sugar. Shake the liquid ingredients vigorously with ice. Strain into the prepared glass. Garnish with the lemon spiral.

NOTES
A crusta always has a sugar rim and long citrus spiral, and is traditionally made with brandy. This New Orleans classic is similar to a Sidecar, and is served in a sour glass.
